Life back to normal

Since the CNY holidays, life has returned to normal with full-day school (including exams for Natalie), soccer and BBQ weekends, and general hanging around.

Video 706 - Ashley, two years old, using trainer chopsticks like a boss.

Video 707 - Natalie and Ashley bumping bellies.  I did not in any way suggest or encourage them to do this.  They did it all on their own.

Video 708 - Lauren, Natalie and Ashley on the slides at Parkview.

Video 709 - Ashley playing by herself at Parkview.  She's independent and adventurous, jumping with abandon in to the ball pit and tossing out balls.

Video 710 - Lauren, Natalie and I played catch with Ashley in her stroller at Pacific Place.

Video 711 - Ashley being loud and cheeky at Crystal Jade.

Chinese New Years in Macau

We started the Chinese New Year of the Sheep in Macau together with Lisa Yee-yee, Uncle Dennis, and cousins Van and Vicky.  We had such a great time -- from the Macau Science Center to being upgraded to the Presidential Suite at Sheraton, to a CNY family feast at Feast buffet, to Shrekfast the next day, a successful scavenger hunt, and fun times at Qube.  Natalie asked how come we only stayed two days.  Let's do that again!

Video 698 - Lauren and kids playing with a demo on traffic congestion at the Macau Science Center.

Video 699 - Mommy playing a song at the Macau Science Center

Video 700 - The staff covered the floor of the bedroom in our hotel with balloons and the kids loved it, went crazy.  Thanks for the wonderful and fun surprise!

Video 701 - Lauren and Vicky playing air hockey at Qube.

Video 702 - Natalie and Vanessa playing air hockey at Qube.

Video 703 - Lauren, Natalie and Vanessa slide on mats down a big slide at Qube in Macau.

Hanging with Mommy

While Ba-ba takes a well-deserved ski holiday over the CNY to Tahoe with friends, the girls and Mommy hang out.

Video 695 - Natalie and Lauren practice heelying at IFC before sushi dinner while Ashley runs around.

Video 696 - Before hitting the slopes, Ba-ba took the girls to a CNY event at the Asia Society. Lauren loves to participate.  Here she is doing the lion dance at a CNY event, and Video 697 of her playing the drums, too.

Ashley won an award for good behaviour at school.

Natalie lost a second front tooth.  She occasionally looks like a vampire when she smiles now.

Our kind neighbour helped Natalie with her homework while Lauren and Ashley studied the bird on her balcony.

The girls loved eating Nian Gao (sticky rice cake).

Meals out together at Outback and sushi at IFC.

Uncle Don popped in for a short visit during a trip to Hong Kong from Vietnam.  He helped tire the girls out and tuck them in for the night with a bedtime story (The Giving Tree).
